Elisheva is a bubbly 11-year-old girl from Lakewood, New Jersey.
She has nine siblings, loves hanging out with her friends, and making art.
When Elisheva was born, she was diagnosed with dwarfism which came with a whole host of other medical complications. She first met Chai Lifeline while receiving treatment in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Chai Lifeline offered her parents and family lots of support in the form of sibling programs, meals, hospital and home respite volunteers, and lots of fun events and retreats over the years. Elisheva has also been a Camp Simcha Special camper since 2019.
“Camp is where everyone thinks and treats me like a normal girl,” said Elisheva. “At Camp Simcha I learned to treat everyone the same.”
