Brady, 17, is from Plantation Florida. When he was just three months old, he was diagnosed with retinoblastoma and spent over three years in the hospital. Despite his visual impairment, Brady loves to play video games and is an avid swimmer. He loves to meditate and work out.
Brady and his family first met Chai Lifeline shortly after his diagnosis, when case managers and volunteers came to the hospital to visit and help out. “While Chai Lifeline couldn’t help with the medical aspect of my problems, they really helped my family out with everything else, with food, services, and just offering a listening ear,” said Brady. He has attended Camp Simcha for over nine summers, where he found an inclusive and incredibly warm environment.
