Miki is 12 and lives in Jerusalem. The second of four children, she is bilingual and speaks both Hebrew and English fluently. Miki loves to stay active through dancing, gymnastics and running.
At age 10, Miki was diagnosed with cancer. Chai Lifeline connected with her family and helped them navigate the U.S. medical system while providing constant support as Miki underwent treatment in New York.
This past summer was Miki's first at Camp Simcha, where she made new friends and took part in numerous events and activities. In particular, she loved to dress up and made sure to pack enough tutus and costumes because, as she explained, “At Camp Simcha, every day is dress-up day. It's really fun here and everyone has a blast."
