Tzvi is a 16-year-old boy with Spina Bifida from Baltimore. He has undergone many surgeries, MRIs, and procedures throughout his life, experiencing his fair share of struggles. Despite these challenges, Tzvi is an extremely strong and inspiring person. He takes medication that makes him feel sick and endures daily medical tasks that are not easy. Tzvi has become accustomed to pain and doesn’t even share the level of pain with others. He does become fearful because pain can often indicate that something else is wrong and will require more medicine, procedures, or surgery. However, he refocuses by bringing joy to others.
Tzvi shares, "One of the ways I stay strong through challenging times is knowing that I’m not alone! I have a loving family who is always there for me, and I have Chai Lifeline. Chai Lifeline gives me a place to talk to people, and they also have amazing events that help me keep my mind off of what I’m going through. They carry me throughout the year!"
