At just 3 years old, Roi, a resident of Atlit, Israel, faced a daunting battle with brain cancer. The treatments were grueling, leaving him frail and profoundly impacted. However, the support from Chai Lifeline/Chaiyenu brought about a transformative change. Roi began to rediscover joy and laughter.
A standout experience was his time at Camp Simcha, Chai Lifeline’s renowned summer program for children with cancer and other blood disorders. Dedicated volunteers brightened his challenging journey, offering numerous moments of happiness and hope.
Now on the path to recovery, Roi continues to benefit from the uplifting visits of his Chaiyenu friends, providing him strength during his rehabilitation and especially in these times of war.
