Shoshana, a 17-year-old Boston native, loves dancing and spending time with friends. Aspiring to become a nurse, her cancer diagnosis at 14 inspired her to give back. “I see how much my nurses have done for me and I think it’s really nice to be on the giving end after you were on the receiving end for a very long time.”
Shoshana attended her first Chai Lifeline event in 2020 and bonded with two girls who were undergoing their own cancer treatments. Since then she’s enjoyed taking part in various Chai Lifeline programs and events, including spending her summers at Camp Simcha. Her experience has taught her that determination can make any goal achievable.
