The Clinical Psychotherapist provides psychotherapy to clients that are facing illness or loss. Through weekly sessions help the clients navigate the emotional challenges associated with their difficult circumstances. Provide compassionate support and guidance to help them cope with their emotions and provide skills to facilitate progress in managing their adversity.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide quality therapy to children and/or adults facing illness or loss
- Monitor clients to evaluate progress
- Maintain an active caseload
- Attend weekly supervision
- Maintain up-to-date progress notes
Education:
master’s in mental health field
Professional Skills:
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability/Experience working with sensitive information
- Nonprofit experience is a plus
SCHEDULE:
