HERE IN THE MIDWEST…Families turn to Chai Lifeline Midwest, located in Lincolnwood, IL, for access to more than two-dozen, year-round, programs and services, all free of charge and delivered with love and respect. Chai Lifeline Midwest is a leader in creating and supporting programs and projects that bring joy to families’ lives and hope to all. The Hartman Family Foundation Wish at the Wall sends a group of post-treatment adolescents and a parent on a life-altering journey to Israel. Joan and Shael Bellows Family Day, Rochelle Kanter Memorial Day Retreat, Jennifer Levin Kaplan Memorial Purim Party, and the Harriet and Barry Ray Birthday Balloons, are models of celebrations of family life that are now implemented throughout Chai Lifeline’s regions. Every year Chai Lifeline Midwest sends a large contingent of children and teens to Camp Simcha, named in memory of Dr. Samuel Abraham, and Camp Simcha Special. These innovative overnight camping adventures are the only kosher camps in the world capable of meeting the medical and social needs of children with life-threatening or lifelong illnesses.
